The moonlight shines on the land, and the animals get an idea — to plant trees! First, a puppy plants a tree and gives it some water. Then, a bunny joins in, and now there are two trees — just right for hanging a soft hammock. A little monkey plants a tree too, and with three trees, they can ride bicycles around them. More and more trees are planted, and the animals live happily in the woods. Suddenly, some bad guys show up, wanting to cut the trees down...Two-thirds of each page shows the story, while the remaining third offers a hint for the next page, inviting young readers to guess, “Who will plant another tree?” There's even a little tree puppet at the end, encouraging kids to plant trees themselves.
