The Red-Vested Wild Duck
Wild Duck Town is a small town that all residents love birds. Every year in winter, various migratory birds like to come here. One day, the townspeople discover that a common shelduck has been hit by a bamboo arrow. If the arrow wound is not treated quickly, the common shelduck will not survive. Thus, all people of the entire town do hard to catch the duck for saving its life. Human beings claim to be the smartest of all creatures, however, some people harm innocent lives. This story presents the respect and care of humans for other creatures. The watercolors depict the delicate features of the common shelduck. Readers of all ages will recognize birds and learn to love and cherish lives. Traditional Chinese, Zhuyin, suitable for children over five years old.
