晚上，大家在洞裡聽興仔叔公講故事，突然，村子裡升起一個個紅紅的燈籠！興仔叔公高興的說：「看到天燈代表土匪走了，我們可以回家了！」原來，山賊會趁大家採辦年貨的時候，出來打家劫舍，於是全村總動員躲到山洞裡避難，等山賊走了，再由一名壯丁下山打探消息，並且燃放天燈，向洞裡的村民報平安；這套"中國民俗節日故事"全套二十五本，包含傳統民間故事和節日習俗傳說，大人小孩一同品味文字，欣賞書中優美的版畫和紙藝；繁體字，注音，適合六歲以上的小朋友。 Sky Lanterns Everyone is listening to Uncle Xingzai's telling stories in the cave in the evening. Suddenly, red lanterns rise up from the village! Uncle Xingzai happily says: "The red lanterns appearing in the sky represents the bandits is gone so we can go home!" It’s New Year time, and people usually buys a lot of New Year stuff so the bandits want to rob the village. All the villagers take refuge in the cave and wait for the bandits to leave. Afterward, a strong man goes back to the village to check, he will set off the red lanterns to the sky to report when it’s safe.
